Our team also recycled 1,250 tons of steel, along with thousands of fluorescent light bulbs. More than 94% of the building waste from the former facility was able to be reused or recycled. The result is a cleaner construction site, less waste and less trucking to bring material on site.
The new facility consolidated many of Corewell Health’s shared services to a single hub for health and wellness. The project included an eight-story office building connected via a two-level connector bridge to a renovated four-story office building, two new parking structures and a pavilion space created for gathered learning.
The campus includes an on-site fitness facility, game room for employees and a large, dedicated event space.
