The 10-story, 194-room Graduate Hotel is a quick 10-minute trip from Spartan Stadium. It boasts elements inspired by the community and the state, an inviting lobby and a rooftop bar with a view of Michigan State University’s campus. The Graduate Hotel includes a fitness room, coffee bar, meeting and event space, and roof-level entertainment featuring a patio/bar/restaurant.

The hotel offers two presidential suites, king rooms, double queen rooms and suites for children.
As the project progressed, Rockford was quick to problem-solve. The local utility company needed to reroute a large number of poles and overhead power lines and take them underground. Rockford performed a site excavation to expedite the process and remain on schedule.
A second situation involved an adjacent business that was also under construction. The space between sites was tight, so Rockford contacted a crane manufacturer engineering group in France to devise an engineered tie-off solution. This held the cranes in place when out of service, ensuring they wouldn’t collide due to weather.
