Situated in Detroit’s East Jefferson Corridor, Rivertown Market functions as an anchor in the heart of the city for fresh, affordable and accessible food. The new market offers thousands of staple items along with more than 2,000 locally made goods. Through our development partnership with the City of Detroit, the surrounding Lafayette Park area was also enhanced. Improvements included restored lawns, a new irrigation system, updated pavers and sidewalks, and two large murals on the facility painted by local artists of color.
