Rockford worked with the developer, Olsen Loeks and Acrisure, a global insurance broker, to construct Acrisure’s global corporate headquarters at Studio Park in downtown Grand Rapids. The more than 100,000 sq. ft. Class A office space includes dining areas, collaboration spaces and outdoor amenities. The building, which features an all-glass exterior, houses a variety of high-tech equipment including dedicated IT rooms on each floor, an advanced mechanical control system, redundant systems and more. This project required a keen eye for detail due to its location. Situated on a tight urban site, logistics were challenging, requiring our team to coordinate the necessary road closures and multiple cranes needed. Our preconstruction team also worked closely with the architect to ensure the overall cost-effectiveness of both design and construction. The new headquarters consolidates multiple offices, bringing Acrisure together into one unified location.
