This multi-purpose construction project brings nationally known and locally owned New Holland Brewing Co. to Grand Rapids’ West Side along with an apartment community – Barley Flats. The new cold-formed building features studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments with modern finishes, open floor plans and views of downtown Grand Rapids. Each unit also includes a washer and dryer, secure key card access and on-site storage. This project was very complex and located on a tight urban site. Large amounts of unsuitable soils were also present and crews successfully navigated an aggressive schedule.
