This mixed-use development totals 160,000 sq. ft. and is home to a ground-floor grocery store, Capital City Market (a smaller Meijer grocery-format store), 35 apartment units and a 122-room hotel. Standing five stories tall, this building is clad with metal panels, brick, and storefront glazing. A complete site package was also part of this project’s scope, which includes more than 300 parking spaces adjacent to the new structure. The development offers a unique mix to Lansing’s Stadium district, with opportunities to shop, live and stay. The grocery store, Capital City Market, is a 40,000 sq. ft., open-air concept small market format featuring local products from throughout the region. Block 600 Lofts includes a mix of studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments with a fitness center, patio space, bike storage and common area. The hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, offers an additional hospitality option in downtown Lansing, and features conference rooms along with a lounge, bistro and more.
