The location of a former nightclub, Rockford successfully transformed this site into a unique restaurant, Butcher’s Union, with an eclectic design. The meat and whiskey restaurant is located on Grand Rapids’ West Side. Many of the project elements were re-used, including the tin ceiling, which was repurposed from a renovated building one block away. A portion of the roof on the structure’s second floor was also removed to create an outdoor courtyard and seating area. Other features also include ornate woodwork, large bar and seating areas.
