Capitol Park Center is a mixed-use new construction of two buildings that include both retail and office space as well as residential apartments. Each of the two buildings are roughly 33,000 sq. ft., with ground floor build-out space for future business tenants and community space, with three floors of apartments above. The completed project in the heart of Lansing is 65,600 sq. ft. and includes 48 individual apartment units. The buildings are framed with steel on the first floor with a joist and deck system sitting on the foundations while the upper levels were framed with wood. The apartment community has many amenities and is located just minutes away from the state Capitol. The complex features affordable housing, and the project was completed with MSHDA support.
