The first Universally-Designed building in the world, the Mary Free Bed YMCA is a revolutionary new facility designed with everyone in mind. The Universal Design features facilities for those with and without disabilities. The 36-acre integrated health and wellness facility features a greenhouse, community meeting room, teaching kitchen, two multi-purpose gymnasiums, eight-lane lap pool, family fun pool, health and fitness center, indoor track, indoor cycling studio, climbing wall, men’s and women’s saunas and fully accessible locker rooms. Outdoor amenities include a half-mile loop paved trail, baseball fields, soccer fields, ADA softball field, accessible playground, outdoor tennis courts and learning farm with raised bed gardens.
