An existing 300,000 sq. ft. distribution warehouse was transformed into corporate office space for Meijer. The building, situated on Meijer’s Walker campus, is state-of-the-art in terms of communication and technology. The building is encompassed by nearly all glass, including a 120 ft. by 20 ft. skylight, providing natural light throughout the offices, conference rooms and lobby. The building also features a newly-added mezzanine, courtyard, Starbuck’s, full-service kitchen and café, and a raised access floor that contains the mechanical, electrical, and communication systems for the building-providing a more modern, collaborative work environment for the Midwest retailer for years to come.
