Mel Trotter Ministries (MTM) partnered with Rockford on a major facility renovation to transform their approach to assisting those experiencing homelessness in Grand Rapids. Rockford converted shared, dormitory-style rooms with gang showers to individual, semi-private suites to provide a more private experience. In addition to the renovation work performed in an occupied space, Rockford also added a third floor to the building. This renovation supports the foundation for MTM’s new programming, which is designed to better support guests as they endeavor to leave homelessness forever.
