This was the first major expansion to the manufacturing space at Herman Miller’s main campus in years. The project included a 20,000-sq.-ft. expansion to Building G and a renovation/addition to the adjacent parking lot. Additionally, equipment was carefully moved from the old building to the new addition upon completion. The new building’s exterior curtain wall, metal panel cladding and interior finish selections were strategically planned to set the tone for future renovation/expansion work on campus.
