Schools serve as the heart of our communities and crucial centers for learning. By leading community engagement, conducting facility assessments and organizing a bond vote that successfully passed during COVID, this project is a testament to Rockford’s commitment to community and to Northview’s vision, which encourages personal best. Rockford completed facilities assessments for the district’s six educational buildings and grounds, engaged in robust community dialogue and supported an election campaign for the successful passage of a $36.6 million bond program. In addition to classroom upgrades at all buildings, the program includes new furniture and technology, buses, exterior improvements, secure entrances, fine arts upgrades, track repair and healthy and efficient mechanical systems, including air conditioning.
