Formerly home to South Christian High School, the new Unified Sports and Inclusion Center is the world’s largest Special Olympics facility, serving the 20,000 athletes across Michigan.

The Center provides youth athletic programming, training, league play, health and wellness services, development and more, and will serve as Special Olympics Michigan’s headquarters while also housing 10 additional non-profits.

Virtual Design and Construction guided coordination of the multi-use YMCA and Caledonia Community Schools athletic complex, using detailed modeling to align aquatics systems, structural components and shared community spaces. Digital planning enhanced collaboration among partners, reduced field conflicts and supported efficient execution across the two-story facility and surrounding site improvements.
