The Morton is a mixed-use facility offering three floors of retail and commercial office space along with 10 residential floors of apartments and condominiums (99 units). Rockford completely renovated the building to offer modern amenities and spacious floor plans while maintaining The Morton’s unique structure and history. Residential units feature quartz countertops, soft-close cabinetry, luxury vinyl flooring and open floor plans. Building amenities include a fitness center, outdoor courtyard, storage areas and more.

Virtual Design and Construction guided coordination of the multi-use YMCA and Caledonia Community Schools athletic complex, using detailed modeling to align aquatics systems, structural components and shared community spaces. Digital planning enhanced collaboration among partners, reduced field conflicts and supported efficient execution across the two-story facility and surrounding site improvements.
