Around GR: Following the Grand Rapids Drive

By Desirae Carlisle

There are few events around Grand Rapids that are quite as exciting, exhilarating or enjoyable as a Grand Rapids Drive basketball game. Throughout the 2019-2020 season, Rockford Property Management has been proud to host Drive players and coaches at Fulton Place on Grand Rapids’ West Side. And on a personal level, I have followed these players and watched them grow both on and off the court.
Attending a Drive game in person is a must for anyone living in Grand Rapids. There’s something about sharing your excitement with fellow fans when Donta Hall catches a half-court pass from Jordan Bone and dunks on the opposition that can’t simply be recreated elsewhere. Plus, there isn’t a bad seat in the house at The DeltaPlex.
Speaking of The DeltaPlex, the arena boasts a very friendly staff along with bars strategically placed throughout. This makes it so easy to grab your drinks and not miss any of the action. The arena also offers a wide variety of game day foods at concession stands, including soft salted pretzels with cheese, hot dogs, burgers made to order and, of course, fresh popcorn.
With all this to take in, why stay home on a cold winter night? Grab your friends and family and head to The DeltaPlex for an exciting night of basketball. Oh, and don’t forget – #WeAreGR!
