Happy Thanksgiving! Be Safe.

Every day, we have the wonderful privilege of working with great clients, investors, suppliers, and trade contractors. We are thankful to work with these partners throughout the U.S. to complete projects of all sizes and scopes.

Rockford’s business is built on relationships, but those relationships wouldn’t exist if not for good health and safety. At Rockford, we take many precautions to prepare for the safest possible outcome. Paul Rozich, Rockford’s Director of Safety and Risk Management, leads a full-time team dedicated to ensuring jobsite safety for all of our onsite crews and teammates. Our superintendents and project managers create site-specific safety plans. Our operations team coordinates numerous trainings. We invest in appropriate equipment and discuss safety at all of our onsite progress meetings. But our team can’t do this work alone; we need your help. Whether you’re operating equipment onsite or using a ladder to hang holiday decorations at your home, opportunities to promote safety are all around us.

This year, following Hurricanes Irma and Maria, Rockford team members from Michigan traveled down south to provide hurricane relief efforts in support of our Florida office, clients, projects, and neighbors. Hearing about situations like these can make you feel especially thankful for your own safety and wellbeing. I encourage you to reflect on these feelings throughout the year, and know that it is always important to put safety, health, and wellness at the forefronts of our minds.

Thank you for a safe and successful 2017. We look forward to the coming year. Wishing you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
