How Our Cornerstones Affect Our Business

Core Values. Value Statements. Value Propositions.

For many companies and organizations, these can be vague statements that provide little insight into the culture of an organization; they do not allow us to truly see what an organization represents. At Rockford, we have our own set of values: our cornerstones. But they are much more than a generic list of attributes; they are the very foundation for our behavior.

In all that we do, we strive to be business thought leaders, provide built-in value, deliver beautiful outcomes, and create places with soul. These cornerstones represent the tradition of Rockford, the service attitude we embody, the experiences we create for our clients, and the benefits we give back to the community. They are our values and our commitment to our clients and each other.

Our cornerstones are a high standard we set for ourselves, and we accept nothing less. Therefore, it is necessary that each of us at Rockford takes ownership in living out the cornerstones every day. So, this summer we’re going on a journey – a journey to discover how our cornerstones are evident in every aspect of our business. From accounting to preconstruction, communications to trades, the cornerstones touch each area of the business – and each person – uniquely.

We encourage you to follow along as we take a deeper and more personal look into each of our four cornerstones. Consider even taking this time to reflect on your own values or the values of your company.
